Global Innovation Leader for Blockchain Technology @ EY
Mr. Brody is the global innovation leader for blockchain technology at EY. He is proficient in mobile finance strategy planning, technology of mobility and internet of things. He has 20 years of consulting and strategy experience in mobile and electronics.
Prior to joining EY, he served as Vice President and Global Industry Leader of Electronics at IBM. Graduated from Princeton University and major in Economics and African Studies.
Currently he is leading EY’s global blockchain business across research, application development, audit, and tax with teams in more than 15 countries worldwide.
He also led development of IBM’s ADEPT platform, the first IoT platform based on blockchain technology, launched proof of concept at CES in 2014 in cooperation with Samsung.

Peter obtained his M.Sc. in Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology.After a research project with five Dutch universities, he also obtained his Ph.D., after which he worked as an assistant professor at Twente University.
Afterwards, he moved tothe Dutch Ministry of Traffic & Transport, responsible for a number of ICT innovation projects.
In 1997 he moved to Atos, holding many roles on the edge of ICT, business, management and sales. Often taking new challenges, thinking “out-of-the-box”, cooperating in teams with colleagues, customers and sometimes even competitors.
In total, Peter has worked for Atos for 16 years, with a two year intermezzo as an outsourcing advisor for KPMG/EquaTerra.
In 2015 Peter became CEO of Brightlands Smart Services Campus.A triple helix organisationcreating an ecosystem of large companies and organizations, SME’s, start-ups,students and researchers jointly innovating in the area of digital transformation. Built from scratch, BSSC now consists of some 80 companies and organizations.
In relation tothis role, Peter also became a part-time professor at Maastricht University.
Since September 1 2019, Peter is the Coalition Manager of the Dutch Blockchain Coalition (DBC). The DBC is a cooperation between partners from government, business and science with the objective to create a safe and sound blockchain infrastructure for The Netherlands, in the broadest sense of the word.

Jordi is a lecturer-researcher and teaches the Blockchain Minor at THUAS. He is also the co-founder of Koios, a platform that uses blockchain technology to support building open learning environments.
Project lead @ 't Heerlens Heitje
Pieter Bonnema is the initiator and project leader of one of the most innovative public projects; 't Heerlens Heitje. A blockchain related project where citizens are given the opportunity to do public tasks and are rewarded with a local digital token. Let's say, a bob a job in the year 2021.
Pieter has been familiar with blockchain technology for almost 10 years, recognized its great advantages and has always tried to incorporate it into the public sector. There are many theoretical possibilities within the (government) services, but to achieve an actual implementation many challenges need to be overcome.

Bas Roos has obtained a Master in Business Administration.
He worked as Data Analytics & Compliance officer at Ernst & Young IT Risk & Assurance for 2,5 years. At EY he was leading a team of junior data analysts to introduce analytics into the audit procedures. After that he was active as Country Lead Continuous Improvement at Mebin, HeidelbergCementGroup. As Continuous Improvement Manager Bas was responsible for the adoption of Continuous Improvement Principles within multiple functional area's, as well as for the (re)definition & application of information technology resources in order to improve the efficiency & sustainability of business processes. One of the key projects was the implementation of a new (IT) processes facilitating in the transparency, registration & reduction of waste (left-over concrete). Applied within NL, BE and GER
Currently he is the CEO of Bistroo. Bistroo is a direct-to-consumer, peer-2-peer marketplace that significantly reduces commission fees and enables direct online (e-)commerce between within the online platform.
Bistroo.nl hosts a fully functional ordering platform for the Dutch market that has been operational since March 2020.
Assistant professor Law, Ethics and Technology @ VU Amsterdam
Dr. Tina van der Linden is an assistant professor Law, Ethics and Technology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She has a long history of teaching and research in Law and Technology. For the master in International Technology Law she developed a course called: Blockchain and other Business-tech: Challenges for the Law, that is followed by some 70 international students each year. She is also involved in teaching and research in legal concerns surrounding use of artificial intelligence.
Managing Partner @Maven 11 Capital
An early investor in Bitcoin, Ethereum and multiple other early-stage ventures, Joost co-founded Maven 11 in 2015 to build one of the first registered European Venture Capital Firms in the blockchain space.
As an early angel investor, Joost built a portfolio of blockchain projects and realized a 13X multiple before launching Maven 11 Fund 1. He has raised EUR 15M from European Family offices and High Net Worth Individuals for the Fund. Prior to Maven 11, Joost was the founder of an innovative telecom start-up (*bliep, sold 2015) that was awarded as “Start-Up of the Year” by The Next Web” in 2013.
Joost holds an MSc in Business Administration at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and is connected to the Blockchain Incubator at Yes Delft (University).
Professor Blockchain @ the Saxion University of Applied Sciences
Professor Dr. ing. Jan Veuger MRE FRICS, was appointed in 2019 as professor Blockchain at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
Before that, he was a Real Estate professor at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. Jan graduated from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Furthermore, he is a member of the supervisory committee for research into 'New virtual money flows and the detection of criminal monies' of Ministry of Justice and Security, Scientific Research and Documentation Centre (WODC).
